Shawn Bryant is a social work intern and MSW student at New Mexico Highlands University who cares deeply about supporting individuals and families through some of life’s toughest moments. His nearly four years as a New Mexico Disability Adjudicator shaped his steady, grounded approach and strengthened his commitment to advocating for people with clarity, respect, and compassion.

He is especially committed to working with New Mexicans who struggle to access consistent, high‑quality care, including those in rural and underserved areas. Shawn is particularly interested in how telehealth can help close those gaps, making it easier for people across the state to connect with meaningful, person‑centered support.

Honesty, equity, and compassion guide Shawn’s work. He aims to create a welcoming, judgment‑free space where people feel genuinely heard and supported as they work toward their goals. When he’s not focused on school or practice, Shawn spends time with wife Tami, his four rescue dogs: Gizmo, Toto, Pogo, Lucky, and stays connected to his community in grounded, authentic ways.
